Reaching your milestones

Milestone:  The term "milestone" originally referred to a roadside marker indicating the distance to a particular location. Today, it is more commonly used to figuratively describe significant life events or key moments in a person’s development, often marking the beginning of a new chapter, a right of passage, a different mindset, or a life transformation.

My life’s purpose is to help people develop and achieve their milestones.

Reaching milestones, whether personal, relational, or professional, empowers growth. Your milestones may involve discovering new perspectives or transforming how you experience life. Though the journey may feel like a marathon, taking it one step at a time allows you to celebrate and honor each milestone you conquer, moving forward one step at a time.

My doctorate is in family social science from the University of Minnesota, with a specialization in marriage and family therapy. My master's degree is in human development and family studies from Colorado State University. Through my training, education, and 20+ years of professional experience, I utilize my expertise in multiple areas, including:

  • Expert witness services providing professional opinions and testimony, including legal assessments of damages on cases involving individual and family loss, pain and suffering, and trauma

  • Providing education regarding ambiguous loss, grief and loss, and the detrimental myths surrounding grief and loss.
